Turing Test

Description of how the test works
One person A sits at a computer terminal which is connected to two other terminals.
One is operated by a human and another is a computer being tested for intelligence.
Person A asks B and C any questions in order to figure out which is the computer.
The test is passed when A cannot tell the difference between B and C.

Is it a good test?
still regarded as an important test in the stages of AI. but, its not a great test as it only tests one aspect of intelligence

strategies to fool/cheat the computer
ask questions relating to weather, personal questions, slang and text talk, regional dialect
