Clock - keeps the processor and instructions synchronised.
Reset - returns computer system to its initial state
Write - instructs processor to carry out WRite operation
Read - as above, but a read
Interrupt - stops the processor doing what its doing to deal with another task
NMI - Non Maskable Interrupt - same as an interrupt, but can't be ignored!
